Pellet brand

Greetings,
New member here, new as in still unpacking my new Pit Boss. I have owned a Green Mountain Grill for 10 years and made the switch when it finally died yesterday. My question for the membership is this: How important do you think it is to use Pit Boss brand pellets in a Pit Boss smoker? I have some Traeger and Green Mountain pellets on hand, but will gladly purchase some new Pit Boss if it makes any difference at all. It is a brand new grill and I want to keep it in tip top shape with good reliability.

Wont matter to the grill. Some pellets burn or smoke better than others. Find a pellet jou like and enjoy your food....

Welcome from Rhode Island. Use up the pellets you have on hand then use what brand you prefer; they all will burn.

IMO, the best pellets are the cheapest ones made from 100% hardwood, no binders, no oils, no artificial flavors.
