I’ve had my Pit Boss xL1000 for about a year and a half. Once, I get the grill going, I go back and check on it later and there’s an error on the screen and the grill is cold from going off because, the wood pellets don’t feed down to burn. I get it going again to go back an hour or so later, and it has went off again. This happened all day yesterday, and last night. We had to finish our Turkey and ham in the oven . This, has been an issue soon after I got it for my husband for Fathers Day in June 2021.

Two things.
Sometimes you have long pellets and always have pellet dust in the bag
I use a colander to sift out the dust in a five gallon bucket and store the rest in a air tight container
By using a colander it also breaks up the pellets
Hopefully this helps you 🇺🇸🇺🇸

does it have a prime button on it? Are you making sure the pellets are falling in and keeping the top open till all the white smoke is gone before closing the lid? Is the grill level? Just a few thing to check
