Pro Series 4 v2 staying on smoke setting and not changing to a set temp with the control knob

I am having some issues with me control panel on my pro series PBV4PS2 vertical smoker. When I turn on my smoker, it goes directly to "5" setting (for smoke) and after it gets to 130 degrees, I cannot get the control knob to change the temp after I push knob and it starts blinking. Stays on "5/S" the entire time. I can change the temp on my SmokeIT app but then when I press the knob, it immediately reverts back to "5/S". While this isn't a problem when I have the app with me and all of that is connected, it would be a problem if I don't have the app to change it. Has anyone else had this issues? Any fixes?

Once you push in the knob and it is blinking, turn it to the temperature you want to set it at. Push the knob again and it will hold this temperature.

I have tried that about 5 different times…when I press the knob it goes to “set temp” and blinks a “S/5”, then when I turn the knob to change the temp, it STAYS on “S/5”. So no matter how many times I press the knob to set temp and move the knob wheel, it doesn’t change from “S/5”.

Mine did that after it completed a recipe but reset and started working correctly when I unplugged the unit
