Sear option

Used the sear on filet mignon amd some burgers its awesome ! I wouldnt own a pellet grill without it way to go on that option for sure!!

i love the sear function as well. one of the main reasons i chose the pit boss. i have done salmon, chicken thighs, burgers, steak, and even seared a roast. all with great results. i love it!

It is also good for bringing a pan of chili or beans up to temp before dropping into smoke mode for the duration.

I ALWAYS finish my smoked ribeye steaks with a reverse sear. There's nothing quite like it. Other pellet grill owners are always talking about how they wish their grill from a different brand had the feature.
