I just bought a PB 2 series electric smoker and when the smoker is hot the wood tray will not release from the smoker. The first time I smoked something and wanted to replenish the wood, the box would not release. I thought I must have put it in wrong but as soon as the smoker cooled the box released. I fired the smoker for the second time and checked the railing to ensure everything is where is supposed to be which it was but the same thing happened, under about 150 the box released, as soon as it got to temp the box is stuck.
