This my first post on this forum and sadly it’s because I’m not very happy.
This week I received my second smoker that I ordered from Jack’s Small Engines. Though I wanted to order direct from Pit Boss, they were out of stock on this model for weeks and Jack’s was one of the few places that had this particular model in stock. i received the first one after about 10 days and upon unpacking found it was dented on the right rear where you mount the leg And the bracket was bent. I called Jack’s and the arranged to ship another unit which arrived two days later with the IDENTICAL type of damage, but on the opposite rear corner. The odd thing to me is that these units appear pretty robust and I would expect to see significant damage on the exterior that would result in that sort of damage to the unit, but there isn’t Which leads me to think it was damaged before it was packaged. I’m very unhappy because I planned on putting my smoker to use this weekend and I’m posting because I want to see if others have had similar experiences before I order another, but preferably direct from Pit Boss this time! If I only had to bend the bracket back a bit I might have done that, but with what I paid I have the right to expect it to arrive in much better shape.

Their all built in China; a country that isn't really happy with us in the past few years. The Brunswick model I heard are damaged when people receive them from Walmart. I'd keep sending them back until you get one in perfect shape, you paid for it to be in perfect condition, nothing less.

Thank you for the reply and I totally agree.
