Thermal deflector for 1150 pro

Hello all

Anybody familiar with the deflectors for the diffuser? Does anybody have first hand experience good or bad?

While back there was a post on here about the same thing

I do know that you can purchase one off Amazon

I don't use the diffuser and I don't have a deflector. Doesn't seem necessary to me. I do wrap up some foil and put it up around the probe to level the temp. Pic here: https://www.pitbossforum.com/threads/what-is-this.1333/#post-8115

FYI, I use my smoker as a smoker, not a grill. If you're trying to cook at 450 you may have different requirements.
