Sick dogs ruled our day, thus we could not join the family at our daughters.
Not to be deterred my wife still prepare pumpkin pie and a sweet potato casserole which I delivered to the family.
In return they had a Thanksgiving care package ready to go so I brought home turkey, etc.
Other than barfing dogs the day was free so I went for a jog, watched parades and football.
It’s probably my older brain processing things but the parade just doesn’t seem the same as back when. Too much primping and posturing among the hosts and their guests and not enough parade time itself.
