Trying to fix

[Fixer upper]

So I bought an Austin xl that the guy didn't want to try and fix anymore. He said it was throwing an er1 code. So I figured it has to be the temp probe. He said he already changed it. We'll I bought it for $40. Plugged it in, no code, but the temp probe won't read past 30. Fans are working and auger is working. It just constantly runs do to temp. Any ideas??

I did go ahead and order a new control board. Hopefully it's here Saturday
