Unable to control temps

first time having an issue with my PB700fwb2. Turned it to smoke, and within a few minutes the temp rose to over 450°. The temp continued to rise. I noticed the controller panel temp was flickering between actual temp and a number adding a decimal in the middle.

Any thoughts on the cause and solution? Or even what to do to trouble shot the issue?

Your controller is bad.
As Mike said , call support
They’ll replace it for you
