Just wondering if any other users notice large temperature fluctuations? I was smoking jerky today and wanted a lower temp, I know I need to run it up to 260F to get the smoke going, which I did getting a good smoke flowing. After that I tried to maintain a 160-170 F temp. After fiddling with the dial several times I settled on 174F for the high the low running around 149 F. Not terrible but that's over 30 degrees difference! Just thought it would have better temp control than that!

Just installed a warranty replacement controller. Never checked temps before. But found the temps in the center of the smoker were 25 to 30 degrees lower than displayed. Oddly the temps toward the bottom were even lower than displayed. I can adjust to live with the difference but had hoped for closer to the display.
