I have a Pit Boss Austin Xl 100 and I really like it and am looking at the Brunswick Platinum vertical smoker. I saw a review by the Grill Sargent that said it takes approximately 40 minutes to reach 250° do you guys that have this model see the same slow temperature increase ? Thanks

I have the PBV4PS2 which is the twin to the Brunswick from Lowe's and it hits 250 deg in no time. 15 minutes or so.

Check it out really good, Walmart is famous in their shipping for dents and banging up smokers and grills.
My Brunswick took a long time to preheat compared to my Lexington. I say took, because it started itself with the cover on and exploded and tried to burn my house down. (Make sure to keep it unplugged when not IMMEDIATELY in use.)

And do not order pellet from their .com... I have and by the time they made it to my house I had bags of saw dust!

No, they are nothing alike. The Brunswick has the upper 2-door oven.

No. it doesn't. It has 2 side by side doors instead of one. Controller is different and has a light inside features are the same with the grease tray and ash clean out and smoke vents inside on 3 sides. Lockhart has the two top oven doors.
