Water inside smoker

So I keep my Pitboss covered all the time today when I dropped the shelf there was water I have no idea how this coujd have happened it’s never gets wet with the cover off, when I took out the pellet cup to empty it was wet as well. Any thoughts please let me know. The cover looms tk bein fine shape no holes or anything wrong with it.

Not that much when I flipped the shelf to upright position it poured from the edges not just damp or slightly wet.

You’ve definitely got a leak somewhere because my 820 cover has been in several storms and never had an issue.
If you have a way to hang it up then you can spray water inside to see where it’s leaking

After really inspecting it does seem dry and a bit brittle after all so maybe that’s the issue have had it for a few years and it does bake in the Florida sun here so guess it’s time for a new one, no other explanation as to how it’s getting wet.
