Well, first cook on this thing since July 3. Mama had a taste for chicken. But what kinda chicken???
Aint taking chances.
One with a bbq rub
One with Lemon Pepper
One with a Carolina style rub.
Had just enough room for my super secret green bean recipe. That nobody likes but her. Lol.
One hour-15 minutes on the S setting.
The magic S I’ve learned to call it.
Of course with the pellet/chip packed tubes. Hickory if you’re wondering.
Then cranked to 250 for about 2 1/2 hours. And now finishing up at 300. Almost ready. Very close to the magic 165/170 on all three probes.
May have to share with a couple of friends in the neighborhood. That’s a lot of chicken!!
