so this grill has been a pain in my ass. I just had a new control board sent to me and it takes 40+ min to get to 400. I can not get it higher than 400-410. i have fresh pellets and have cleaned fire box and everything. is this typical?

Is your rain cap wide open, this gives better air flow. I usually open my sear plate when going that hot seems to help. But remember if it's only showing 400-410 at the probe, ( the colder side of the grill on my 850 ) the right side will be much hotter.
