Hi all

I have a vertical smoker (Pro Series II 4) and want to put a temporary chimney on it at times. The smoker is on my covered back deck and in the winter I made clear plastic panels that snap in to enclose it. So that I can keep smoke in the winter, I was thinking of getting some 4" flex pipe, take off the vent cap, and vent the smoke outside. I was thinkng of using a metal dryer hose for this. Does anyone see any problem doing that? If I can find the right size, I might do rigid, but I want to take it down when not in use so flex is better. Edited to add: I'm thinking of this - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbil...mi-Rigid-Aluminum-Duct-MFX48ULXHD12/203626513

Just make sure it doesn't get in contact with anything that can melt or catch on fire or just remove a plastic panel or two to let the smoke out.
