has Walmart stopped selling the pitboss charcoal pellets? I found some at Target, but Walmart seems to be out all over Houston. I just picked up two bags at Lowe's of the competition, great price.

Walmart dropped Charcoal in their lineup this year.
Only place I have seen them is on the PB website, or Target.
Both are mail order.
Would like to find in-stock somewhere.
Too much handling equals broken pellets, niblets and dust....

yep, found the same. ordered a couple from target. I like to mix with the competition. royal oak now has 100% charcoal, but they seem to be mail order only as well around here (from home depot)

update, looks like kroger's and TSC has royal oak on the shelf.
Ive used that brand. Now you can go to Sam's club and get a 40lb bag of I think it's smoke house competition brand for 14 dollars before tax its good very little dust in the bag.just got 2 bags. But its seasonal that's why I got 2

my wallymart had them at about the same price as the OP. i hadn't seen the other flavors they had in 20# bags so i stocked up. maybe just local supply issues because you guys use too much pellets?
i kid, i do too.

hi, does anybody know the makeup of competition pellets?...... how much hickory or apple or maple, oak cherry etc.

My favorite is the Classic Blend, 2nd is the competition blend, haven't tried the Fruit wood blend
