Alerts on New App - App developer Please read

I agree an alert would be useful. I’m often engaged with something else while I have a good smoke going. Maybe prepping something else or just puttering around the yard, an alert could redirect focus if needed

And again what’s the point of setting a probe reach temp if you have to stare at the app anyway, it displays the current probe temp as well.

So a new version is out for IPhone version 1.1.1 no mention of alerts for probes being fixed.
 
All alerts working when I used it today, cook temp and probes. One thing I noticed is the app is showing on your screen, IPhone, you get a pop up alert but no sound, when the app is minimized or phone screen is off then the sounds work.

Any word on android changes a,d what is the graphing like? > haven't been able to try mine first snow and now sever rain and tornado watch or warning whatever is lower non spotted yet. But the w>fe won't? E start the smo(er till after its over 😬
 
Using app today, working perfectly, original cook set temp alert worked, when I changed the cook temp and it reached it the alert worked again, probe alerts are working, everything seems good finally.
 
Well, am Android as well and app works EXCEPT I have to close and reopen it everytime I check it as it loses or freezes up with the smoker. The app on the phone says its this temp, but the smoker reads something else and the only way to get them paired up is close and restart and connect the app. As of yet, not a peep from Pit Boss on here about it..
 
After reading this I just checked mine on IOS my version now has changed to 1.1.3 i believe 2 weeks ago I was at 1.1.0 so far I have not had issues with the software as far as connection or doing temp adjusts while cooking my only issue with my Pro 4 is temp have to like set to 280 if I want a box temp of 250 other than that it works great I did some pork country ribs the other day came out great but my favorite meat is a chuck roast way better than brisket

The newest version is 1.1.2 came out 2 days ago.
