Today i did the update thing for my vertical. Based on comments here I allowed plenty of time for that. Good thing, due to connectivity issues, etc it took a while but it completed the task.
I put ribs on and all day the smoker struggled to reach target temps. See the graph.
I stayed connected all day, even during a 1 hour trip to a local fitness center for a workout.
Otherwise, I just pulled the ribs after about 5-6 hours at somewhere between 210 and 220. Some preliminary forking showed a good texture and taste. They are now towel wrapped awaiting dinner time.
