Auger will not turn. Here is a picture. I removed all pellets and I can turn auger freely by hand. Fan is spinning ok. Any suggestions?

I would say your gear box is toast auger should not spin free

Is the connecting bolt not sheared off? If it is good, then the gears inside the auger are stripped/bad.

The connection bolt (Allen wrench bolt) is fine. All the connections appear to be fine. I can spin the auger with my hand counterclockwise. Based on that info do you think the gear box is bad?

Take the bolt and auger out and start it up, if the shaft doesn't turn the auger gears are gone. If it's less than 5 years old it's under warranty, call customer support for a new one 877 303 3134 option 2.
