Blue tooth and Wi-Fi BS! Never work, marketing ploy!

We spent way too much time trying to get Wi-Fi and blue tooth to work, we called and did troubleshooting, replaced bird display they sent, but… LIES THERE IS NO FUNCTIONING BLUE TOOTH OR WI-FI, not with their app not with Alexa we connected it and it DOES NOT WORK!
They will blame your Wi-Fi and your phone and everything. We are tech’s and engineers and the advertised Wi-Fi and blue tooth DO NOT WORK!

I had no problem at all. Make sure you are using a 2.4ghz network and not 5ghz. It uses 2.4 just like all other home devices. But like others have said it is very sensitive to temp changes and sometimes just easier not to use

Same issue with my smoker. Works great now.

Nothing, tried the app when I first got it and it will not sign on.

I'd call PB and get the controller replaced. BT is really just temporary to get the controller to connect to WiFi. If you can't connect with BT, you'll never get to the point to connect to WiFi.

Move the Antennae from the bottom control board to the faceplate of the controller. It is getting blocked and it is facing up and down and should be vertical facing outwards. I have a post on how to do this with the vertical PB4.

I installed a RecTec controller....and so every issue I had went away.....but that is another post as well.

never had a issue matter of fact it works so good I was 500 mile away and son was smoking and my phone picked it up .I had to call him and ask whtchasmokin true story

I haven't had any issues with mine. It works fine and has since I bought it. I also have the PB850 PSII. Love it.
