Blue tooth and Wi-Fi BS! Never work, marketing ploy!

I downloaded the app and tried to connect the 2 but the Wi-Fi lite just keeps flashing and doesn’t ever connect.

I have the KC combo. Once I downloaded the Smoke it App, the WIFI BT wouldn't hook up. I called Smoke It @ 888-503-8702. We still couldn't get it working. They sent me a brand new controller. It was very easy and Danny was great.

I have to admit - in my case it was user error. While smoking a lamb roast yesterday I fooled around with the smoke it app again and I simply needed to allow the app to access my Bluetooth. Once the smoker and phone connected, it was simple to tie it into my Wi-Fi network. Works perfectly and it’s really nice checking it and timing from my phone or iPad! Old people and tech is sometimes a tough match lol

wow i’ve been very fortunate, mine seemed to work right out of the box. originally i thought i was having issues with it connecting to wifi, now it just does it once it’s turned on. i’ve had my son turn it on while i was out and then launched the app and everything shows up like it’s supposed to

Both BT and WIFI worked great for me right out of the box. (456D3 model). Also both probes work fine. The WiFi has the best range. No scam.
