I got one of these for my grill. It is too easy to burn your wrist. A handle that comes out a bit and then turns 90 degrees would be nice to have.

I probably would have made one that extended and turned down 90° had I not seen this great and SIMPLE idea!

the handle is centered on the lid , i moved mine over to the left. Just had to drill 2 holes., then you can lift the lid without it touching your arm. worked for me but I'm 5'8"
