Championship Barrel

I have a barrel smoker. The cooking grids will not sit in place and make contact all the way around. I can get them to make contact with three of the notches and have to load very carefully on one supported side. What can I do?

I’m not sure lol. I don’t know how to rivet or anything. I was about to take some pliers and see if I can bend them or something. I can’t find any info about this problem.

Well I messed around with it some more and figured out the barrel isn’t exactly circular so when I squeeze it together more the grids fit snug properly.

Then I’d just keep pushing until it where they fit fine and you’ll be good
