Controller Knob doesn't change Temperature

I just bought my Pit Boss and from the beginning the Controller knob won't change the cook temperature. It doesn't make the cooking temperature blink or anything. The cooking temperature is set at 350 degrees and I have been using it that way while I try to figure out why I can't change it. I have downloaded the App and I don't see how to change the cooking temperature by using that either and I thought I read somewhere that should be possible also. Otherwise the grill powers on and operates normally as far as I can tell, I just can't change the cooking temperature. Any suggestions?

what unit you have did you try unplugging the unit to reset controller .

Have you pressed the button in to change the temp? Maybe time to call Pitboss support.

It is a 820 CS1. Yes, I tried pushing in on the button and also holding the button in for a few seconds and neither did anything. I unplug the unit every time I use it since I don't have electricity run to it yet. I wondered if there was a reset or something that might clear the system but I don't see that either. Might call support if I get a free moment today.

Make sure you ue the right blue tooth SMOKE IT app as there are a few to choose from. Use the one with the WHITE LETTERS on ORANGE BACKGROUND that say "it". that fixed my bluetooth issues.
