I have performed extensive research in this area. Comparing hundreds of different commercial sauces I have concluded, for my palate, there is no better than SBR. I have made a few myself that get into the ballpark, and have had some at some hole in the wall joints that will give it a run for its money, but nothing store bought is even in the same league for me.

My bbq sauce taste vary as much as my bourbon taste. I like all of them!!
Blue Hog makes a Raspberry Chipotle sauce that’s great on pulled pork. Sweet and Spicy. My wife’s favorite.

Look at all these fancy BBQ sauces!!!
I feel so common....so pedestrian...so ordinary.
I use the original Bulls Eye.
I buy it in the 1 gallon container.
Should I feel ashamed?
In fairness I do regularly modify it with additions to vary the result.
Chipotle sauce and/or chopped chipotles are my most common addition.
Sometimes add fruit jam to get a fruit note to the finish flavor.
It's a good base and it doesn't use corn syrup as a sweetener.

they sell this in the hardware store, but not Albertsons or Stater Bros,,,go figure. I love the Mango Habanero sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings
edit: Just found out Sweet Baby Rays makes a Mango Habanero Sauce..road trip!!
