Finally pulled the trigger

^^^ what temps you cook at?
I have raised my temps to 350+ for the last hour to help crisp my skin but I prefer to sear it over red hot coals.
I've been wondering about that finish to crisp things up. I have a vertical smoker and saw where others cranked it up at the end to 350ish for something like chicken. If it works OK, it would save having to fire up the charcoal grill just for crisping purposes.

The apple juice makes it tasty and crisp so it doesn’t come out like chewin a shoe sole.
