Need some advice. Fire pot not getting hot. Doesn’t get hot enough for the Auger to start turning. Fan works. Temp starts flashing after 10 minutes due to not getting up to temp. Smoker is 3 years old.

Sounds like the iginiter is band. What type of grill (model)? Remove grates and heat shield. Clean out firepot and turn it on. Watch to see if igniter turns red. If it doesn't it's bad. (Do NOT reach in to feel it)

Auger should turn regardless.... If that is your problem you may have a jammed auger which is a pain to fix. It means if you left pellets in the hopper they may have gotten wet and that will jam the auger.

First try to see if the igniter gets hot. if it does then you have an auger jam or the sheer pin on the motor has fallen out (which happened to me one time).

This is what happened to me when my auger stopped turning. I thought I had a jam and the pin fell out. It was a pain to figure out what was wrong but once I did I was back in business.
