I bought a GMG for my wife to use when I was working on the road as a welding inspector, at the time it was the only smoker available with wifi control. I could have her plug it in and I could control it 1500 miles away! That was 2017.
Yesterday I broke it down for some maintenance. It has a shear pin on the auger coupler that wears out about every 30 long cooks (12+ hours).
I smoked 3 butts last night.
This unit has a great defuser over the fire pot. And the app has the ability to user calibrated oven temp probe and the meat temp probe.
