I do have some hickory chips laying around. I’d love to do both chips and pellets and see the difference with the same cookPersonally, I use only chips in my smoke tubes. I find that it ups the smokiness much more compared to using pellets or belnded. Downside is the burn out quickly. Maybe an hour on a 12” tube. That might be perfect for you on short cooks.
