Hey guys, my 1100 is and has always had a huge discrepancy from one side of grill to the other as well as up and down temps. Any way to fix this?

I appreciate the info. Sadly, if this is the actual cause due to poor design, Pit Boss should provide the mod, free of charge.

Trying a multi fold foil hack just to check it out. I will say on start up, it would rise quickly, even open. So far at start-up, temp is not jumping up, which is good.

That will work for sure but they make a mod for it if your crafty you can make one me not so

Yikes, now I got an ERL...15 min post start-up and closed lid. Not sure if that's to slow to heat up. LOL
