Found my new smoker had it saved for awhile on my wish list says available as multiple stores...wife says she'll buy it as a bday present so we place our order and it gets immediately cancelled unavailable...try a second store and boom unavailable. I guess that live inventory isnt so live. I think ill try lowes next time.

I’ve had that happen to me at other stores with bourbon, meat, etc. Lowe’s has seemed to be the only accurate online live inventory count I consistently see. Look at the Pro series at Lowe’s, I think you’ll like them!

Pro series is exactly what i was looking at 850 or 1150 since its "only" just 100 more lol

Bigger is usually better. Especially if you cook a lot. But, if you don’t cook large volume, go smaller. More efficient on pellet consumption.

I was lookin at the 850 pro originally and glad I went with the 1150. I still run out of room occasionally .

I was told in the beginning that you never want to wish you had more cooking space so I went with the 1600. To Jim's point I still run out of room from time to time.

We have a 850 and a Lexington, the majority of our day-to-day grilling is done on the Lexington and we use the 850 for longer smokes. The Lexington definitely heats up faster and uses less pellets

I know this is Pit Boss Forum, but couldn't help myself, we needed several things from our local Tractor Supply, looked up online, they said had everything, wife drives for about an hour, nothing available, nor had anyone there except checkout folks to help. One of the checkout folks said don't believe anything you see on-line, the web page rarely gets updated.

Oh you really can’t make this stuff up…shop online at Lowe’s for curb side pick up…smoker comes out preassembled…didn’t ask for it didn’t want it and fn smoker didn’t fit in my van…seriously what force doesn’t want me to have a new toy it’s my bday damn it lol

So finally got my hands on a new smoker went with the 1150. Haven’t cooked anything yet but I am liking it so far as I got through the first burn and hooked up the buggy app. Might do some ribs this weekend start small before I do another brisket
