So finally got my hands on a new smoker went with the 1150. Haven’t cooked anything yet but I am liking it so far as I got through the first burn and hooked up the buggy app. Might do some ribs this weekend start small before I do another brisket

5 degree increment control vs 10. I believe it’s touch screen and vertical grates instead of the cross cross grates.

Yep what I just read as the only changes. I think the 5 degree change is nice thing to have

Definitely. Won’t make a huge difference, but more control is always nice.

Just finished my first cook of ribs I thought the v3 performed good but the grill def ran hot according to the temp…I am in Texas though so that might at least be part of the cause. Ribs did end up tender with a decent smoke ring after about 4-5 hrs at 275

It’s new. Give it 2-3 cooks to break in. That’s nothing out of the ordinary. Glad to hear you enjoyed the ribs!
