Well I’ve had the Brunswick grill set up on the patio for almost 3 months, but have not been able to use it yet to Cook anything.
I tried to just see if it would work well (ie heat up and hold temp) before I added any meat because I did not want to waste any “expensive” meats. Or ruin a dinner party or cookout. I have still not yet to be able to make the pit boss Brunswick work functionally.
First weekend cook I couldn’t even use because the Fan wood not blow enough for me to even pre-cook / preseason the grill. Customer service said do not worry about fan running or not just preseason as it is. ? Did that. Then tried to see if it would hold a 280 temp. No such luck. I tried three different times over the next few weeks to see if Brunswick would hold a temp and I used my “Thermoworks” thermometers to verify. Each time the Pit Boss and thermoworks were over a 100° difference. not even close!!! I used 2 other different brand thermometers and each time the results were similar. Called pit boss customer service who were excellent professionals, but even after they sent me the new PID controller that I installed the results were the same again and again. They also said they would send me a new temp probe but it is actually on back order so I’ve been waiting for almost another two months for that temp probe. I’ve been trying to see if the Brunswick would conform but now I keep getting ERR codes from igniter I’ve gone through the book and looked online and done everything to make it more work but yet the temperature still not remain consistent. This point I strongly regret ever taking the recommendation from grill Billy guy on the videos.

I’m glad he had good luck with his ?!?!?!! but I think this machine is a piece of junk. I will not trust that source again. At this point I’m trying to send it back. even though Pit Boss says I’m didn’t need to purchase the Walmart warranty it may prove handy, because this POS is either going back to the store or I’m gonna throw it on the curb and take pictures of it and post it to everyone. I was almost considering buying a pit boss flat top at this point I want nothing to do with a pit boss product extremely disappointing to have a $700 pellet grill that after three months I still can’t cook one single damn thing in it. No more pit boss products for me, especially this dogged Brunswick.
