My igniter gets on when plugged in and not turned on. I have replace the control board twice and just replaced igniter for the 3rd time. Anyone have same issue?

I just replaced my ignitor and read about ignitor staying hot while plugged in. I had covers off and the unit plugged in and checked my ignitor 1/2 hour later and it was still hot. I guess normal. I make sure I unplug unit after it shuts off.
