Have had the Lexington for two years with no problem. Suddenly there are varying temps, smoke from the hopper and flare ups. I clean after nearly every use, so it kind of confused me as to what was wrong. Goin on this forum and seeing some you tube videos, I realize I could not see the ignitor in the burn pot. Come to find out the set screw came loose and the thing slid back into the tube. Reset the ignitor and set screw so 1/4 inch of it is visible, and no more problems. Just something to check if you are getting weird problems.
