Internal Temp shut down not working

The main reason for buying the PBV4PS2 was the auto shut down when the internal temperature of the meat was reached. It didn't work, twice. I set the temp exactly how instructed. Guess I will return and find one that works.

Same model here
I’ve only used that option a couple times
It worked but I wanted to be directly involved in the process rather than trusting the machine

I have the same smoker and never used that feature, I rather be directly involved like Steve is.
