L41 Error Code

Hello,

My vertical Pit Boss Pro Series Pellet Grill gives me a L41 Error code when I first plug it in then the auger, fan and ignitor light remain on. When I try to set the temperature it will not rise and remains cold. any idea what my issue is? I would appreciate any assistance. TIA

If it isn’t the igniter it’s probably the controller
I’d call pitboss support

I "think" the L41 is just the firmware version. (Mine shows L42 at startup, then goes away quickly). I'm not sure that is the source of your problems. Are there any other error indicators, like those listed in your manual?

Thanks for the reply guys. I did end up calling Pit Boss and they are sending me a new control board which we hope will fix the issue. I guess my only problem now is how long it will take to get here
