Laredo 1000

I have a Laredo 1000 that had been working fine except for the Ash pan being stuck. Anyway I changed to the new pitboss app and after the update the power button will let you turn on the grill but you can't turn it off, you have to use the power button on the grill app to turn it off. I contacted Customer support they said it was the control board and sent me another one. Got it installed today and it's doing the same thing. Tried to contact Customer support but no answer so far. Trying again tomorrow. I hope this info helps someone with the same problem. Will update after I talk to CS

Wow that sounds dangerous

remote on never seen that before hope you get it fixed soon but unplug it till you get it figured out when not in use.

It's not remote on its remote off. It turns on normally and everything works as designed but when you get ready to turn off the grill, touching the power button does nothing. I have to use the app to power down the grill.

I have the same grill, I have to hold my finger on the power button for 5 seconds or more for it to turn off. To turn on its one touch. It was probably done that so no accidental turn off.
