I tried searching this but I could not find anything so if this has been covered I am sorry. I am waiting for delivery of a new vertical smoker from PB and as of now I have not purchased the protection plan from Lowes but after reading some reviews I am contemplating it. I know these units have some issues and might need some communication with PB but I am wondering if the protection plans from Lowes might be worth the extra money. Has anyone had any experience with them? I am trying to see if they are like car warranties where they try talking you into spending money on their warranty but then when it is time for them to act on it they have a reason why they won't honor it. Any stories or advices from dealing with them would be much appreciated. TIA.
