Hi y'all! I'm a damn Yankee, born and raised near Cincinnati ( Go Bengals!) but have been in old Virginny now since. Recently retired from the nuclear power industry where I worked as an Instrumentation and Control technician / AOV Tester. Working on fixing up our little slice of heaven on earth near Lake Anna in Louisa County, trying to turn it into the local party place for bonfires, hot tubbing and cookouts.y lovely wife and mother-in-law gifted me with a Pitboss Lockhart for Father's Day this year but am just now getting around to trying it out. Did 3 racks of ribs yesterday with the help of my stepson. They were tasty and juicer, but still a tad chewy. Trying a brisket today. Anyways, looking forward to learning a lot about the art of smoking and grilling. Y'all come back now, ya hear?
