I am purchasing a Pro 1150 from Lowe’s tomorrow. The main reason is the ease of cleaning with the ask pot on the bottom that snaps out. Has anyone with this model had any issues with the clean out or controller? I’ve read so many bad reviews but really like all of the features of this pellet grill.

I have it's big brother the 1600 and love it. No issues here.

I also have a 1600 no issues LOVE IT !!! there is a learning curve, understand that the temp readings and probe readings may not be the most accurate and use them as a guide line !! your best friend is a quality instant read thermometer or temp spikes.
the touch screen controller on my 1600 works great and every cook so far has been a success. P/S the ash pot clean out and sear function were important to me and work well !!

Good morning from North Carolina this is my first post on this forum.

I purchased the exact smoker you were looking at from Lowe’s about two years ago I believe. It has been the best investment that I have made.

That being said, I have been battling a temperature issue for the last couple of weeks. The digital temperature and the actual temperature seem to be up to 95° difference. Also, the temperature varies from side to side on the cooking surface.

That being said, I have many many hours of not only smoking meat and vegetables, but also cooking steaks and burgers at the higher temperatures. Great pellet grill in my opinion.

I hope your new smoker brings you as much joy as mine has happy smoking
