New to pellets and fairly new to smoking

I was checking my new 850 and yeah, big temp differences between the controller and my Smoke4
I used a thermapro thermometer and my temp stayed within 10 degrees for almost the entire cooking time. It was in the low 40s outside when I checked it so not sure how a hot summer day might effect (affect? Lol I always get that messed up) this number but it wasn't too bad and didn't impact the cook....on an off topic. Anyone have a link to a really good home made rib seasoning they want to share? I searched the forum but found results difficult to find. I'm prob just not using the site correctly yet. I'm working on it
