thanks Jooster - do you find the lumber jacks any good or is it a case of the best we have on offer in OZ??

Been happy with the lumber jack. Occasionally I will use the Pitboss Cherry blend.
Unfortunately here in Australia we don’t get the range they have in the U.S with fuel. We really have to use what’s available. We r also limited of the pellet grills we can get. I also had to buy the cover from Amazon as they don’t bring in the covers to Australia.
Bunnings is the only distributor for Pitboss. The reason I went with the Pro 850 was for the PID controller, hopper pellet drain ( so you can change the pellets) and the burn pot clean out.
Good luck with your cooks. I have been happy with Pitboss. I have done Ribs ( even though good ribs are hard to come by), pulled pork and a silverside which I make pastrami.
