I picked up the Pit Boss Pro Series 4 Series Vertical Smoker last night.

After reading all the frightening stories of hopper fires on the Brunswick, along with the fact that it typically arrives damaged, I cancelled my order with Walmart.
Now I don't know which vertical smoker to buy.

Any thoughts on this one:

I highly recommend the Pro Series 4 version 2. I’ve had mine since Christmas and done at least 20 cooks on it and gone through over 150 lbs of pellets with zero issues. Love that smoker! I also recommend sifting your pellets to remove tiny bits and dust which can clog the auger and lead to problems. I’m guessing the vast majority of smoker issues are poor or no cleaning and maintenance. Good luck and great smokes!

I have that smoker and love it. Only paid 400.00 for mine new January 2021.

just yesterday I ordered one. I haven't received it till now. Why do you believe others? So you listened to others and canceled the order. I will see when I receive it, experience it, and then I will decide. If it's that bad I will return it no worries Walmart return policies are good and they will take returns easily. Despite bad reviews, they are doing good business.

I own the pitboss 820D and it serves me very well
