P Setting

I have an 850 Pro. I don’t see anywhere that I can set P setting. Can anyone help me out?

I think the 850 pro controler uses a PID controller, not one that is time based like mine that has the "P" settings.

What does your manual say? The pitboss-grill site isn't working well after an upgrade so they are not available online at this time.

You have no P settings. It has the digital PID controller.

P setting is in recipe button. Set mine on p 2 but goes back to p1 must be doing something wrong

Yes, if you have the old analog controllers you have a P setting. If you have a PID controller there is no P setting. Only the "Smoke" setting which looks like a 5. I think the P setting in recipes is for programming recipes.
