I have a new PB 850 and have smoked several long cooks with it. Both times the grill temp is off 20-50 degrees, either high or low. I have to use my separate BT temp probe placed near the cooking grill to properly monitor the grill temp. This kind of defeats the purpose of the PID controller maintaining a proper cooking temperature.
Is this a hardware failure on the pit or am I missing something?
Support says to clean probe, check connection, fresh startup with lid open for ten minutes for the probe to measure ambient temp.(Will be doing this next).
Any suggestions that may help with this issue?
Thanks
