I have a KC combo grill, LOVE the set up, only (big) issue I have is pellets won't flow into the hole. I ran out of pellets during a smoke only because the pellets don't seem to slide into the hole. once the pellets above the feed hole were gone, flame went out. Hopper still had pellets but again, the sides don't seem sloped enough to flow them into the hole. anyone else with this issue?

Yes, I find I have to watch it periodically and pile the pellets up again. Otherwise the pellets will eventually run out. If I filled the hopper completely, which I don't do, I probably wouldn't have o check as often. But that's the way it is with my 850.

I use a paint stir stick. I still have the stick burner blood in me. So I’m always checking it when I cook.
Me too but If I'm doing a long cook (12+) I fill the hopper up above the grate. That my lazy a$$ still ain't cut out yet.

I made myself a square extension box out of thin metal sheet from barn siding. I sized it so I could slide it down into the hopper. It makes it so I can add another 20 lbs or so or pellets. Lasted all night.
