Pellets

Depends on your taste. I like apple, sometimes hickory. Make sure they're in stock before you go.
Thanks for the reply. I like both of those flavors too. Just bought a 20 pound bag of Bear Mountain apple and have almost 20 pounds of Kingsfofd 100% hickory. So it will be a while but may try some other flavor. Good idea about calling 1st.

For those of you who buy Lumber Jack pellets from Dick's I've heard they price match and both Rural King and Atwoods farm and ranch beat Dick's price by a large margin. Can't hurt to try the price match. Atwood's is near me and they sell them for ~$9 for 20 lb regularly and even cheaper on sale a time or two a year. Same with Rural King.

so what are their prices, maybe in the future they have to do a price match, and There are still people out there who think that if the thing is more costly than regular then they consider it as the best quality.

Dick's regular price for LumberJack is$14.99 for 20 lbs.

As stated Atwood's sells LumberJack for ~$9 for 20 lbs. Rural King seems to have stopped selling LumberJack.

i'm heading to dicks tonight to grab a 20# to try out.

i thought most pellets were largely alder with some added flavors of wood as a minor ingredient, no?

outta stock, gotta go to blaines.

Went to Tractor Supply today looking for Bear Mountain oak pellets. They had none so I bought a bag Jim Beam Bourbon Cooking Pellets. Haven't used them yet. Have only used Pitboss Whiskey blend which were okay but not exciting. Wondering if others have used the Jim Beam pellets and what meats they go well with?
