My ribs came out good and it is so hard to find quality meat due to Covid the walmart baby back ribs were not great. I am going to my local butcher tomorrow as he told me he will have some quality baby back ribs instock.

Do you make your own rub and sauce?

No on the sauce, but I do make my own rub. Take recipes I find on the internet and modify them at but it is pretty fun playing around with different spices.

It is trial and error on these as what I learn from these grills. I have the Pro Series 1100 so when it comes to smoking does great and I get different results on smoke from different brands of pellets. Once I changed out the Pit Boss controller to a Savnnah Stoker PID controller that is where I get the smoke flavor any brand of pellets

Do you have an pics of what the controller looks like installed in your hopper? How hard was the install?
